The Greenwood Robotics and Technology Club

DSC_7237 The Greenwood College Robotics and Technology club has enjoyed much interest and is popular more than ever! Come along and join in the fun on Thursdays from 3.15-4pm (possibly 4.30pm). We have double the talent on board, with our new physics teacher Mr Millar taking control of the program and guiding our students through a host of exciting new tech projects. Mr Millar comes to us from SciTech, and has experience organising the national robotics competition – RoboCup – as well as working with a range of cutting edge technologies such as drones.
robot1  About The Club
The goals of the club are for students to learn important technical and communication skills, as well as enjoy themselves while taking part in problem solving activities. The ultimate aim of our members will be to work toward building and programming an entry for the upcoming RoboCup competition which occurs yearly at SciTech. The club runs a range of events and challenges involving robotics and technology, from soldering circuits to programming and building robots. Each year we aims to participate in the international RoboCup competition.
