Elite Dance Program

Greenwood College offers a school-based program in Dance from Year 7 to Year 12.

It's designed for students with dance experience and talent. Fun and challenging, the program allows students to study contemporary, ballet, jazz, hip hop, acrobatics, cultural, lyrical, tap and Bollywood. Dance students have the opportunity to perform at different events throughout the year.

The Dance Extension Program in years 7 and 8 allows students to prepare for their entry and audition for the Elite Dance program ahead of Year 9 and 10. For beginners and students who want to develop their skills outside of the school-based program, there is a general dance course offered.

  • To secure a place in the program, students should be able to demonstrate:

    • Prior dance experience

    • A willingness to participate in the program including after-hours rehearsals and performances.

    • Personal qualities, behaviour and attitude that are consistent with maximum participation in the program.
